The Bardow Group offers a wide range of business knowledge transfer to the payment industry through interactive Knowledge Exchange Workshops. These workshops focus on business process aspects of the payments industry, both from an issuing and acquiring perspective, and are delivered by expert facilitators with many years of in-depth industry experience.

The workshops, delivered in an interactive environment, are designed for a broad range of participants from new entrants to the industry through to experienced practitioners wishing to update their skills or to move into new business areas.

The workshops are available on an "open" basis where attendees from various companies participate, or they can be delivered in a customised manner to individual companies in a "closed" environment. These workshops include subjects such as:

Card Issuing Overview: Designed for individuals new to the industry or those requiring an update on the latest industry practises.

Merchant Acquiring Overview: A workshop for individuals wishing to better understand the business relationships between a retailer, merchant acquirer, card brands and processing entities.

Merchant Acquiring for the Specialist: This is an intensive workshop for the experienced practitioner wishing to drill down into particular areas of merchant acquiring such as portfolio profitability.

Retention and Growth: A specialised workshop for the advanced practitioner covering areas such as sales set up and management, account development and the retention of portfolios.

Fraud: A workshop covering various fraud activities commonly experienced with a focus on e-Commerce and "Customer Not Present" (CNP) transactions.

ATM & POS Devices: An investigative workshop looking at their place in the industry today with an insight into their future utilisation as a delivery channel.
